Remixes & edits by Johan Åstrand. I think it was in 1997 that I heard remixes of old SID tunes for the first time, and I was overwhelmed by what I heard. This triggered something in me and I started doing remixes myself. Everything I did back then was made in FastTracker II and the PC I had was a P75 with 16 Mb RAM, 1.2Gb HDD and Sound Blaster 16. The major problem with my setup was the extremely small HDD and the lack of a CD burner so it was impossible for me to do any post production of the tracks once I had exported them to wav in FTII, and no possibility to store the wavs after they were encoded to (bad) MP3s. The more recent ones were made in Cubase. Further down the page are some of the re-edits I've made from more or less obscure old records, done in Acid Pro. Remixes:
