I think it was in 1997 that I heard remixes of old SID tunes for the first time, and I was overwhelmed by what I heard. This triggered something in me and I started doing remixes myself.
Everything I did back then was made in FastTracker II and the PC I had was a P75 with 16 Mb RAM, 1.2Gb HDD and Sound Blaster 16.

The major problem with my setup was the extremely small HDD and the lack of a CD burner so it was impossible for me to do any post production of the tracks once I had exported them to wav in FTII, and no possibility to store the wavs after they were encoded to (bad) MP3s.
The more recent ones were made in Cubase.
